Algoma Public Health has changed the way it presents COVID-19 statistics. Below are the statistics published on the APH website.

There is one less case in the North Algoma region (Dubreuilville, Michipicoten First Nation, Missinabie Cree First Nation, Wawa, White River).

Ontario will begin sharing information about COVID-19 cases in schools today through a new website. When school started on January 17, many parents were dismayed to discover that they would only be notified when absenteeism among staff and students reached 30%, whether or not those absences were virus-related.

The province’s website will share information on the number of schools closed and will also have a searchable chart showing the combined staff and student absenteeism rate by school.
