Baldwin County real estate numbers continue their explosive trend compared to 2020 statistics

(OBA®) – Robertsdale, AL – With home selling prices continuing to rise, the Baldwin County real estate industry is seeing a significant increase in the total amount of monthly sales. Baldwin REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) Reports Year-Over-Year Increase in Total Sales Volume in June 2021 for Resort Areas and Traditional Residential Areas, Along with Drastic Increase in Average Selling Price for the seaside resort market. The average June selling price for the resort area rose to $ 607,142 from $ 426,174 in June 2020. In addition, total sales volume for June 2021 in Baldwin County increased by 53.2% compared to the previous year.

For the resort area of ​​Baldwin County, a total of 301 properties sold last month, up from 268 in June 2020; but due to the higher selling prices, the sales volume increases by more than $ 60 million. The average number of days on the market has also dropped significantly, from 98 days in June 2020 to just 37 days last month.

For traditional residential properties in Baldwin County, 738 were sold last month, up from 601 in June 2020. Sales volume increased nearly $ 80 million from the previous year. The traditional residential area also mimics the resort area as it has only experienced an average of 28 days on the market (DOM), up from 64 days in June 2020.
