Series of scooter incidents

Monday’s crash is the latest in a growing number of electric scooter incidents.

On Sunday, terrifying images emerged of four scooter drivers traveling down St Kilda Road before screams were heard and a yellow Ford drove straight at them.

The car swerved and narrowly missed the scooter traveling in the back.

Victoria Police believe the incident was sparked after a verbal altercation between the scooter riders and a mystery woman about an hour earlier.

The woman was picked up by the yellow Ford before the rampage began.

The driver of the yellow Ford has yet to come forward and police have urged anyone with information to contact him.
