On February 8, 2022, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Grande Prairie and Regional Law Enforcement Services in the county will host a joint virtual town hall via Zoom.

The public has been invited to participate in their virtual Town Hall. The zoom call is scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The presentation is open to residents of Grande Prairie County living in the RCMP detachment area.

The Joint Law Enforcement Presentation aims to present the most recent crime statistics to the public, with a focus on prevention strategies, the role of peace officers, regulatory officers and the RCMP rural area of ​​Grande Prairie.

Residents who live in the area and wish to attend the Law Enforcement Crime Statistics online presentation via zoom to listen or ask questions are expected to register for the event on the Events Calendar from Grande Prairie www.countygp.ab.ca/events.

Residents with questions are encouraged to use Zoom’s built-in chat function during the last half hour of the online presentation. Those unable to attend the live presentation or wish to review the crime statistics report later will be able to access a recording of the event, which will include a written log of the questions asked. Additionally, answers to all questions will be posted on the county’s website shortly after the presentation is complete.
