Muscat: Oman Post & Asyad Express, member of Asyad Group, participated in the Scalex Dubai (Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence) conference as part of Hypermotion Dubai, taking place on the sidelines of Expo 2020 Dubai.
Sayyid Nasr Al Busaidi, Managing Director of Customer Experience at Oman Post & Asyad Express joined policymakers, strategists and industry experts in a panel discussion titled “Automation Strategies to Manage Growth in e-commerce execution â€, to describe the challenges and opportunities in e-commerce in the Middle East, as well as the logistics and supply chain sectors.
Panelists discussed the latest digitally enhanced technologies that will drive future automation and sustainability initiatives and efforts. They also focused on how to improve e-commerce performance through automation and robotics. In addition, Sayyid Nasr also shared the Oman Post & Asyad Express model and the latest milestones related to the company’s state-of-the-art distribution center recently opened in Muscat.
Commenting at the event, Sayyid Nasr said, “We discussed how the e-commerce and logistics industries are transforming when it comes to introducing, implementing and accelerating business. automation in the market. The Scalex conference is part of Hypermotion Dubai, the Middle East edition of German-born convex industry that is reinventing the transportation and logistics industries.
